Who is Eligible:
The CDCP is available to Canadians of all ages who meet the following criteria:
- No existing dental insurance
- Adjusted family net income under $90,000
- Resident of Canada for tax purposes
- Filed a tax return for the previous year
If you currently receive dental benefits through another government program, you may still qualify. The CDCP can be coordinated to avoid duplication or gaps in coverage.
What Services Does the CDCP Cover?
Once approved, the CDCP can help cover a wide range of dental services, including:
- Routine exams and cleanings
- Fillings and root canal therapy
- Dentures and extractions
- Additional services (some may require pre-approval)
